Sainsbury’s has been a major partner of Comic Relief for over a decade and has made a massive difference to both Red Nose Day and Sport Relief campaigns. They never fail to amaze us with their brilliant support and we’re absolutely over the moon that they’ve raised an amazing £4,031,108 so far for Sport Relief 2012!
As well as being the headline sponsor of the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile, they were also the official retailer of the Sport Relief merchandise - from our fabulous Fairtrade Sport Relief Socks and sweatbands to our waterbottles and loads more! Not content with all that, Sainsbury’s staff also went the extra mile with their fantastic fundraising and raised a huge amount of cash. In total since 1999 Sainsbury’s has raised over £60 million for us - a simply staggering amount. The number of lives that cash will have transformed is truly incredible. Sainsbury’s, thank you. You truly are an extraordinary partner.
